        Le Qui Don Technical University has established and pursued its guiding principle and model to closely combine education with science and production, developing academics-oriented priorities and the emerging areas of expertise include:

  • Information Technology.

  • Mechanical  Engineering.

  • Chemical and Environmental Engineering.

  • Civil Engineering (Airports, Underground Constructions, Sea and Island Constructions).

                  LE QUI DON TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

1. Introduction:

Le Qui Don Technical University is one of leading universities which offers multidisciplinary undergraduate and postgraduate training in engineering and management.

It was initially rooted from the Military Technical Academy as a provider of qualified engineers, enabling them to work not only for the military  but also for the industry to meet  the demand of  industrialization and modernization of the country.
 

2. History:
* August 8th 1966:The 146/CP decision of  the government marked the establishment of the university as the second Branch of  Hanoi University of Technology.

* October 28th 1966:The first Opening Day and the first course of training were officially commenced  at  the second Branch by the representatives of  Ministry of Education and Training and Ministry of National Defense.

* May 6th 1991:The 150/CT Decision of  the Government marked the establishment of the Le Qui Don Technical University.

Campus 1: 100 Hoang Quoc Viet street, Cau Giay Distrist, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Campus 2: Me Linh street, Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province

Campus 3: 71, Cong Hoa street, Tan Binh  District , Ho Chi Minh city, Viet nam.

 


3. Missions
- To advance knowledge and educate graduates and postgraduates in science and technology that will best  serve the nation.

- To focus attention on scientific research, technology transfer and development to meet the demand of industry and national defense.

- Degree programs offered at the university:

Bachelor’s degree: 33 programs

Master’s degree: 17 programs

      Doctoral  degree : 15 programs
